About

I write fiction and non-fiction and am just starting on this crazy creative journey after a half-century on this planet.

Here’s a longer version:

Martin is an avid gamer, writer, and creator of the Ruma: Dawn of Empire tabletop roleplaying game. An IT technician by trade, Martin has spent the past decade reading and writing fantasy and science fiction giving his stories an odd twist. One of his most recent stories, Night Dancing in a Lonely Town, won a Silver Honorable Mention in the Writer’s of the Future contest. His work can also be found in the Troubadours and Space Princesses, Tales of Ruma, and Cursed Collectibles anthologies, as well as online magazines such as On The Premises and 101Words.org. Martin’s education and career has seen him travel to many places around the Pacific while earning degrees in Marine Transportation and Computer Science. He’s a lifelong nerd with an obsession for tabletop games that began at a young age when he first learned of books like The Lord of the Rings and The Belgariad. The maps and languages fascinated Martin, so much that he created his own worlds, including a tax form written in dwarven runes after discovering a 1040ez at the local library. He now lives in the fabulous and sometimes blistering Sin City with his dog Arya and can be found at martingreening.com.
